On a personal note: I attended my first OCW conference in 1980 and since then have written hundreds of articles and over 40 books, all made possible from contacts I have made at these conferences. Worthwhile? Absolutely!

  During the four opportunity-filled days, our dedicated teachers, agents, editors and staff will share the tools needed to help you excel in your craft and grow in faith. Here is a taste of what we offer:

As always, we'll have editors and agents from reputable publishers, professional mentoring and critique, a number of hands-on morning coaching classes as well as a variety of afternoon workshops to help you achieve your writing goals. The conference will once again be held at the beautiful Canby Grove Conference and Retreat Center in Canby, Oregon, located on the Molalla River just southeast of Portland. http://www.csrnet.org/canbygrove/ The cost for the conference is approx. $310 for OCW members and $350 for non-members plus your food and lodging. We have several choices of lodging again this year. You may choose from the affordable cabins, a dorm-style room in the Plaza, or the air-conditioned comfort of Riverfront Lodge, or a nearby hotel. There are even places for your RV. Commuters will find plenty of places to relax in the wooded environment situated on the Molalla River.
